Linda Hoppe Hip Replacement Personal Story

I trust this message finds you in good health. Today, I want to share a profoundly personal story that has not only transformed my life but also has the potential to enhance your practice. I am Linda Hoppe, the author of this email and the proud instructor of the upcoming SFH Kinetic Massage course in November.

My journey with Kinetic Massage commenced when I faced a critical decision – undergoing a total hip replacement. On June 5, 2023, I embarked on a path towards reclaiming my life through hip replacement surgery. Before this, I could only walk for a mere 15 minutes without experiencing significant pain in my right hip. Simple tasks like ascending stairs and putting on my shoes had become arduous, and my thigh and gluteal muscles had visibly atrophied. Nights were restless, and the concept of a full night’s sleep was a distant memory. The hardship and challenges were immense, and I couldn’t help but wonder how I would have coped without the transformative power of Kinetic Massage.

This is where Nyomi Hauta proposed to help me with weekly sessions, starting 7 months before the surgery date,  hoping to make coping better. I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to her. Nyomi’s unwavering support and her expertise in Kinetic Massage and Orthopedic Massage techniques played an invaluable role in my preparation for surgery and my post-operative recovery. Her compassion, combined with her comprehensive approach, tailored weekly treatments that were nothing short of life-changing. She understood the pain, the sleepless nights, and the daily battles I faced. Nyomi’s treatments were a beacon of hope and relief in a challenging time, and I can’t thank her enough for the difference she made.

Each week, the treatment was customized, providing me with the maximum relief and enabling me to cope with the pain and limited range of motion until the surgery date arrived. The primary focus of each session was movement – movement of the joint, movement combined with soft tissue manipulation, and movements that soothed the nervous system, allowing me to relax while my joint, capsule, and muscles were treated. The key, without a doubt, was movement.

Discover how Kinetic Massage can enhance your ability to address joint-related issues, offering unique advantages such as optimal pain relief, long-lasting results, improved client response, and enhanced joint functional mobility. This comprehensive approach will not only benefit your clients but also increase the longevity of your career.
