Does Seminars for Health offer any student discounts?

Seminars for Health is offering massage students an amazing 20% discount off of the current listed price of courses, effective up to 6 months after graduation. There is a discount code viewable at time of registration. Students who would like to enroll and receive this discount can register online. After registering, please send verification that you are an active student in a massage program. Please email us proof of enrolment or graduation to info@seminarsforhealth.ca . It can be anything from a picture of your course registration confirmation or a dated letter of confirmation from your school or your diploma. Proof of enrollment required. No double discounts. Student discount is effective starting Nov. 1, 2016.  Discounts will not be applied for courses that have already been taken.

How does interact e-Transfer work?

Sign in to your online banking.
Enter Seminars for Health as the requested recipient name.
Enter recipient email address: info@seminarsforhealth.ca.
Enter the amount (please include GST).
Enter a security question (what is this for?).
Enter the answer to your security question (may I suggest “SeminarsIsGood” for ease of transfer?).

How can I pay beside using Paypal or a credit card?

You can write a cheque to Seminars for Health and mail it to the following address: 76 Discovery Ridge Court SW, Calgary, AB, T3H 4R3. You can also pay via e-Transfer using info@seminarsforhealth.ca and the password can be “SeminarsisGood”. If you choose to pay this way, please email info@seminarsforhealth.ca to sign up. Your registration will be confirmed once payment is received.

Will I receive massage therapy continuing education credits for the courses I take?

Yes. The massage therapy related courses will give you continuing education credits with the NHPC, RMTA, CMTBC, MTAA, MTAS, CRMTA, NCBTMB and soon MTAM. Please see course calendar for details.

Are courses held at different locations throughout Canada?

Yes, at present our seminars are held in Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Florida.

What do I need to bring to massage therapy seminars?

Depending of the facility, you may or not need to bring a massage table. However, you need to bring massage oil, a large and small towel and a pillow. Please see each individual course for details.

Will I get a certificate of completion?

Yes, Seminars for Health will issue certificates for all participants who completed the course.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt will be emailed to you a few days after you have completed the course. Receipts are sent to the email address provided during registration.

Is Seminars for Health a registered massage school?

No, we are not a registered massage school. Although, we offer training, upgrading in continuing education for practicing massage therapists and other health care practitioners.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy:
Students who withdraw from a course are entitled to a full refund less a $50 administration fee, up to 21 days prior to the course start date. (No refunds for the Yoga Teacher Training under any circumstance)
No refunds, under any circumstances, will be made past 21 days prior to the course start date. Course fees are non-transferable.
