Eligible employers can get government funding to help employees (Massage Therapists) access continuing education training.
This program can pay 2/3rds of the training cost for any of our courses that are 3 days in length. The employer of the therapist pays 1/3rd of the course cost.
Business owners (incorporated, unincorporated, sole-proprietor, partnerships) with 4 or fewer employees, including all owners, are eligible to receive the funding.

Cancellation Policy (in-class):
You may transfer your registration to online or in-person courses or receive store credit up to 14 days before the course start date. Transferring or receiving store credit within 14 days of the course start date will incur a 30% charge of the total paid amount. Seminars for Health does not offer refunds on any of its courses.
Online Course Cancellation Policy:
Full refunds may be provided if the course(s) have not been accessed. In cases in which course interaction is minimal, the course cost may be applied to another product or workshop. Engagement in the course that indicates use, will result in no refund.
How It Works:

- Payment for in-class courses will be made once the student has completed the course and at the end of the month.

Yes. The massage therapy-related courses will give you continuing education credits with the NHPC, CMMOTA, CRMTA, MTAM, MTAS, MTANS, RMQ, ANQ, ANPQ, MA, ATMS, MTWPAM, NCBTMB, FSMTA, and more coming soon. Visit the course page for credit information.

Seminars For Health provides massage tables only in Calgary & Edmonton. Please bring the following items: Massage oil, large & small towel(s), and pillow. Visit each course for details.
You will receive an email, including an electronic version of your proof of attendance. Upon registration, make sure you enter your information correctly to ensure this happens. We collect your email address, first name, and last name (please give us the name you wish to have on your proof of attendance).
For online courses & exams taken, you will be required to submit your attendance certificate directly to your association.
You will receive an official certificate upon all course requirements completion. To view your certificate, navigate to your online account. You can print it there, or send it via e-mail to your massage association. However, if you would prefer a physical copy, you may request Seminars For Health to mail you one for the cost of $19.95.
A certification emblem is a digital emblem that you will receive with your certification email once you complete the course and pass the exam. It can be used on your website to promote your certification. There are rules around using the emblem which will be sent to you when you receive the emblem. Please read these carefully. Students must be present for the whole duration of the course length to become certified.
Students must participate and safely execute all hands-on components of the course.
In addition, students must pass the final written exam.
Please note that the instructors have the right to ask the students to execute any hands-on component at any time. Refusal will deny you from the exam process and, subsequently, your certification.
SFH instructors hold the right to refuse students from writing the final exam if they feel that they cannot safely perform the material despite adequate training.
Students complete our courses and receive our “proof of attendance”. They still receive the allotted amount of credits specified by their association and do not need to complete an exam.
Students complete our “Certification” after they successfully write our exam. If they pass all exams required (if more than one), then they will receive a final SFH certificate stating that they completed all requirements to be a “Certified Therapist”.
No, we are not a registered massage school, we are a continuing education institution. Although, we offer training, upgrading in continuing education for practicing massage therapists and other health care practitioners.
Both courses provide an abundance of hands-on practical techniques. The online/in-person Dynamic Cupping Course is the foundation, providing therapists with knowledge of safeties, precautions and contraindications. In the Advanced Cupping Course, therapists will learn new advanced techniques not taught in SFH Dynamic Cupping, conducted in a side-lying position.
Similarities are evident with the approach between the two certifications. The big difference is that Kinetic Massage emphasizes movement techniques that help restore the loss of movement range of the major joints that typically suffer the greatest restrictions: Neck, Shoulder, Hip. SFH Orthopedic Massage emphasizes muscle detail techniques, incorporating muscle base, muscle scooping and vector techniques. Both Certifications are incredibly applicable in your daily practice with all your clients despite the client’s reason for consulting.

Procedures for in-person training as of March 1, 2022:
As announced by the Provincial Government, businesses no longer need to participate in the Restrictions Exemption Program. Proof of vaccination and masks are no longer required to attend in-person classes. However, we ask you to stay home if you show any symptoms of COVID 19.
