Cancellation Policy (in-class):
Participants who withdraw from a course are entitled to transfer their registration to a different course date or keep a credit on file.
In the event of a course cancellation (webinar or in-class), participants are entitled to store credit or to be transferred to another online or in-person course. No refunds will be issued. Includes cancellations related to COVID-19.
Online Course Cancellation Policy:
Full refunds may be provided if the course(s) have not been accessed. In cases in which course interaction is minimal, the course cost may be applied to another product or workshop. Engagement in the course that indicates use, will result in no refund.
Seminars for Health offers massage students an amazing 20% discount off of the current listed price of courses, effective up to 12 months after graduation. Students who would like to enroll and receive this discount can register online. A discount code is required. To receive a discount code, please email us proof of enrolment or graduation to firstname.lastname@example.org. It can be anything from a picture of your course registration confirmation or a dated letter of confirmation from your school or your diploma. Proof of enrollment is required—no double discounts. Student discount is effective starting Nov. 1, 2016. Discounts will not be applied for courses that have already been taken.
Take advantage of discounts for purchasing multiple courses in one transaction. Discounts automatically apply at the cart level. Purchase two courses, receive 10% off, buy three or more, and receive 20% off the current listed price. Courses previously purchased do not qualify for multiple course bundle discounts.

Deposits are accepted for courses priced above $495. The remaining amount is 10-days before the course start date. Failure to pay the full and final payment 10-days before the course start date will lose both the deposit payment and the reserved seat within the course. Deposits are subject to the Cancellation Policy. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy above.
Yes. The massage therapy related courses will give you continuing education credits with the NHPC, RMTA, MTAA, MTAS, CRMTA, NCBTMB, FSMTA, and more coming soon. Visit course page for credit information.

Seminars For Health provides massage tables only in Calgary & Edmonton. Please bring the following items: Massage oil, large & small towel(s) and pillow. Visit each individual course for details.
You will receive an email, including an electronic version of your proof of attendance. Upon registration, make sure you enter your information correctly to ensure this happens. We collect your email address, first name, and last name (please give us the name you wish to have on your proof of attendance).
For online courses & exams taken, you will be required to submit your attendance certificate directly to your association.
You will receive an official certificate upon all course requirements completion. To view your certificate, navigate to your online account. You can print it there, or send it via e-mail to your massage association. However, if you would prefer a physical copy, you may request Seminars For Health to mail you one for the cost of $19.95.
A certification emblem is a digital emblem that you will receive with your certification email once you complete the course and pass the exam. It can be used on your website to promote your certification. There are rules around using the emblem which will be sent to you when you receive the emblem. Please read these carefully. Students must be present for the whole duration of the course length to become certified.
Students must participate and safely execute all hands-on components of the course.
Students must pass the final written exam.
Please note that the instructors have the right to ask the students to execute any hands-on component at any time. Refusal will deny you from the exam process and, subsequently, your certification.
SFH instructors hold the right to refuse students from writing the final exam if they feel that they cannot safely perform the material despite adequate training.
Students complete our courses and receive our “proof of attendance”. They still receive the allotted amount of credits specified by their association and do not need to complete an exam.
Students complete our “Certification” after they successfully write our exam. If they pass all exams required (if more than one), then they will receive a final SFH certificate stating that they completed all requirements to be a “Certified Therapist”.
No, we are not a registered massage school, we are a continuing education institution. Although, we offer training, upgrading in continuing education for practicing massage therapists and other health care practitioners.
Both courses provide an abundance of hands-on practical techniques. The online/in-person Dynamic Cupping Course is the foundation, providing therapists with knowledge of safeties, precautions and contraindications. In the Advanced Cupping Course, therapists will learn new advanced techniques not taught in SFH Dynamic Cupping, conducted in a side-lying position. If you feel comfortable with providing a full body cupping treatment that blends in with your massage, then this Advanced Cupping Course would elevate your cupping massage practice.
Similarities are evident with the approach between the two certifications. The big difference is that Kinetic Massage emphasizes movement techniques that help restore the loss of movement range of the major joints that typically suffer the greatest restrictions: Neck, Shoulder, Hip. SFH Orthopedic Massage emphasizes muscle detail techniques, incorporating muscle base, muscle scooping and vector techniques. Both Certifications are incredibly applicable in your daily practice with all your clients despite the client’s reason for consulting.
