Take the fear away and safely treat people diagnosed with cancer!

We are super thrilled to launch our Oncology Certification Program for you, the Health Care Providers.

First, find out if this modality is for you, with signing up to this one day course, Fundamentals of Oncology. Then, coming in 2020, is our Part 2, 3-day Oncology class to complete this certification.

Our Fundamentals of Oncology course is designed to take the fear and misunderstanding out of providing soft tissue manipulations to individuals who have had a cancer diagnosis or are actively affected by cancer. Fundamentals of Oncology offers a service for the fast-growing need to train health care providers to provide clients with ongoing and post-treatment soft-tissue care. This path will give you the foundation to support oncology patients and cancer survivors through hands-on support confidently.

What you accomplish and acquire from taking this course?

You will become confident in knowing more about what precautions and adaptations are required to carry out a safe treatment and when to refer out cancer patients.

Learn the enhanced knowledge of common oncology terminology, oncology treatment protocols, and side effects to enable effective communication with clients and other health care professionals.

A way to explain to patients and colleagues the research-based benefits of oncology soft-tissue manipulations (and what claims we can not make).

A list of educational and service-based resources for both you and your cancer diagnosed patients.

Who should take this course?

All health care providers who work directly with oncology patients are welcome to take this course.

Prerequisite:

2nd Year Massage Therapy students who have completed Pathology are welcome.

That course was beautiful!

Honestly it flowed so smoothly and I felt the meditation was done at the perfect time as a break for the morning.

I am so excited to practice this, find my own flow with it and incorporate it into my practice.

The way you have put it all together is stunning. You have created something magical and the way you deliver the knowledge is easy to accept and absorb.

I am so grateful to be on this mindfulness journey and hope to help share it with the world.
