Danielle Pechie RYT500, Rolfer, BKin, RMT
Passion for balance, sustainable health, and unencumbered movement led Danielle Pechie, founder of Yoga Therapy & Bodywork, around the world to study yoga and massage. Her studies started 20 years ago, when she attended Mount Royal College where she completed a diploma in Athletic Therapy and went on to study Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Since then, she has been committed to studying and working with physical performance and injury.
Rolfer, BKin, Diploma of Athletic Therapy and founder of Yoga Therapy and Bodywork, Danielle has studied athletic therapies & yoga from Calgary to Colorado & South East Asia since 1989.
She has a passion for therapeutic alignment, balance, sustainable health and unencumbered movement.
Danielle has extensive training in:
• Ashtanga (500 hour Advanced Teacher Training certificate with Richard Freeman)
• Critical Alignment (Level IV completed with Gert Van Leeuwan)
• Iyengar Yoga (Certificate of Dedicated & Advanced Asana and Pranayama Study from Dr. Norman Sjoman and Sri Dattatreya)
• Registered Massage Therapy
• Active Release Therapy
• Cranial Sacral Therapy
Danielle is recognized in Alberta as a senior yoga teacher. Danielle teaches using the Anatomy of Myofascia which conceives a whole-body map of muscular and myofascial function in order to prepare the body for advanced asana and train students in intelligent movement.
Danielle expertly pairs therapies to deliver informative, integrated and inspiring classes.
